The “Ginkammuri” team from Belarus became the winner at the Second World Children’s Shogi Team Competition in Tokyo.
Four teams who met at the shogiban in Tokyo made it to the finals. Belarus was represented by two teams – “Ginkammuri” and “Minsk shogi dojo”, one team each – from France and Germany.
The final match took place in Tokyo on November 9 in the building of the Japan Shogi Association, where Ginkammuri fought against the German team.
“Ginkammuri” included three participants – Pavel Valkov (this year he won the cup of the best junior of the open world championship in Barcelona), Dmitry Chernashevich and Mikhail Rachkovsky. All these guys have been interested in Japanese chess since they were 5-6 years old.
